How to cook a winter squash (butternut or acorn)-

Oven - Preheat oven to 400F. Slip squash in half and place squash on a cookie sheet and drizzle with oil, salt and pepper OR butter, cinnamon and brown sugar. Cook in oven for 50 to 60 mins. Microwave – Split quash in half and place in shallow baking pan. Cut side down. Prick skin. Add ¼ cup of water. Over with plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 10min or till soft.
